Neked Chef

I have to admit for quite some time now I have had a total suburban housewife crush on Jamie Oliver. Now he has a new show: Jamie at Home. I love it. Really I can't get enough. How can you not be enamoured by a hot guy in sandals, a knitted hat, camo pullover talking about how his endorphins are going all over the place thinking about what he's going to make with the variety of chili peppers he's just picked from his garden. He has such a passion for really great food with natural earthy fresh flavors. I also love how down to earth his recipes are. I can make them and they turn out. I'm so glad I have cable. I watch this show and salivate. Plus you know he's got to be amazing to have two little girls with the names Poppy Honey and Daisy. That's enough Geeking out for now, the commercial break is over!

What is even cuter is I am pretty sure Daisy's middle name is 'Boo'!

You're hilarious! I've only seen him once as a guest on a talk show, but now I'll have to keep an eye out for his show. He sounds so adorable! And I realllly need some good recipes. Thanks for the recommendation!

You made me laugh out loud (in a great way) -- it was such a surprise to come to your blog and see Jamie staring at me! I *think* I may be too old to appreciate him romantically (I would party with, say, Michael Symon, maybe, or Morimoto, although we'd have the language problem), but now that I think on it, having a partner who happened to be a terrific chef would trump, oh, a lot of things....

Oh I am right there with you! I especially love how he pronounces Or-e-gano...there is something completely delightful!

I admit I too have watched him for quite some time. He was on the iron chef the other night. I still dont know if he won. I think I fell asleep. I did see the pepper episode and love the way he cooks. Happy to see im not the only one who likes Jamie

How funny! I hate to cook (love to bake, though) and rarely watch TV so had no idea who this is. In the same week I read about him in your post, then started Jude Devereaux's new romance, Someone to Love. In it the estate's cook "eats Jamie" every day. Thanks to you I got the joke!

Popped in again to see what's up. I am thinking perhaps Jamie should share your banner just 'cause he is so delightful to gaze upon? Tee hee hee.:)
