There's a lot of crappy things going on in today's world. There are so many things that make me want to burrow down in my covers and not come out of bed. I could so easily hide out for awhile. Then, there are some days when I am overwhelmingly grateful for my husband and children. I am grateful for the time I have with them. I am grateful to give them hugs and whisper secrets to all of them while they sleep. I am grateful to watch them eat what I bake for them, or to take "interesting" walks to look for things that are cool to them. I am grateful to tuck them in at night and hear about things that matter to them. I'm grateful for small notes from my husband and to be able to perform acts of service for him. I'm grateful for my little pack and that we have each other. This is what gets me out of bed in our scary world.

Wow. C is looking so old. I think the kids change faster when we dont see them every week. When did john cut his hair? He looks good bald. You two are so cute together. Miss you.
you continue to think sweet sweet thoughts like that and you are going to be just fine. You know what I really really REALLY love about you? Yes, you complain and have your rotten moments, but you never lose sight of what is important to you and instead of succumbing to your bad moments and getting stuck in them, you pick yourself up and do something special for all those stinkers at your house (I just send mine upstairs ;) You are such a rockin' mom, forgiving wife, and loving soul! Love you forever!
You know, it's so important for all of us to keep going. To not lose faith, to be strong for our families, to revel in the people we love and to know that with all the things going on in the world we still have each other. It's not easy, but it is life.
