Embroidery

This is a little mini quilt I made for one of my my best pals for her birthday, hopefully she's received it by now and this isn't ruining the surprise for her;) This is my first embroidered piece. It was so much fun coloring with string! I loved doing the satin stitch and seeing it all come together. By the way if you're doing the embroidered buttons swap, please get those in!

We are on the same wave length! That is what I am planning to do with my fairytale characters that I embroidered, only I am going to frame them for my daughter's wall. Did you do the log cabin around your embroidery or sew the embroidery on (it is hard for me to tell)? I was thinking maybe even a crazy patch instead, with this repro 1930's fabric. Very nice!!!

That's so adorable!! You did a great job! I love the fabrics you put together, too. My buttons are on their way. Will you let me know when you get them? Can't wait to see everyone else's!
