Setting the Sparrow Free!

I've been volunteering at the wild bird sanctuary for the past month. I really love helping there. Helping the birds is not something I would have thought of doing, but they really need help. These little creatures are amazing. One of the best parts of this job is setting the rehabilitated birds free. Today I came home with 10 little sparrows to let go.

Fuzzy Wuzzy

With the kids being gone all week, I decided to break out the lethal felting needles and whip out this little bear. Now to decide what to do with it....

Mexican wedding

We were lucky enough to be able to attend our good friends wedding back in April. I was so inspired by the colors and artwork that we saw in the markets, that I wanted to make soemthing for them. I used the Sublime Stitching Dia de los Muertos pattern and created this piece. After 4 months, it's finally complete!

today

Sometimes I'm amazed at the things I get to see. This was my view when my car overheated today in Wyoming. Pretty eh?
