round and round

This is the picture of a major accomplishment. This is a picture that is proof I can now knit on circular needles. I've always been so intimidated by them, but I now embrace them and love them. They are my new friends. I could not believe how fast this hat went. And all the St stitches without having to knit a row and then purl a row. This was really quite a blissful experience. I see many more bigger knitting projects in the future. Now to get over the fear of socks....

Zounds woman... you can knit beautiful on circular needles... you left out the crucial adjective. You also made me think, for the first time ever: Gee, maybe I won't hide from a chance to learn how, too.

Wow! That's awesome! Someday I'll try that.

Your kids just get cuter and cuter every time I see them!
