How in the world...

is there only 1 full week left until Christmas? I'm not ready. There's still shopping to be done, baking to do, gifts to wrap, cards to send, joy to spread and service to give. I do love this time of year with the kids though. They are absolutly what make things so magical and enjoyable right now. Hopefully another post tomorrow, I'm 1/4 of the way done on my first knitted sock, in the middle of making marshmallows and other fun things. Perhaps we'll write more on those in the morning.

What a wonderful picture!!! You all look so great! Where's Jon though?

Anyway, can't wait to see some of your Christmas projects, and I agree that you should post your tree. That'd be fun, I'll try to post mine, too--when I get done with all my finals next week!

Beautiful family.
We're running out of time too!
I feel like I should just keep going on the all the sewing and home-made, so I can have a good start on next year!

What a wonderful photo!

I am well-known in my family, for saying at just about this time each year (in my best Grinch voice): "I've GOT to stop Christmas from coming, but how?" All about how there is just never enough time, yet it comes, and is always its own kind of wonderful. Relax, enjoy, delight in what is and let go of what isn't!
