spools

I love ebay. I've been looking quite some time for wooden spools for an idea I'm working on. Only I wanted the authentic thing and not reproductions from Hobby Lobby. I've been trying for quite some time to win some, only to be outbid time after time. Finally I placed a bid and won 150 wooden spools for $5.50. Apparently they belonged to a little old Grandma in Idaho who had been saving them for a very long time. She passed away recently and her grand daughter came across them and didn't know what to do with them and now they are mine. 10 years ago I never would have guessed that I would have been able to get so excited about wooden spools!

I was thinking I wish they would recycle spools...what point is there to just dump perfectly good spools in the trash? Glad you found these!

I can't wait to see what you do with those spools - they give me a great nostalgic feeling, just looking at them! :)

What a great find. There are so many things I'm searching for now that I would have thought anybody doing so must be crazy 10 years ago. My how we change!!

Glad you finally found what you wanted!
