Market Bags made using the Jane market bag pattern. So addicting to make! These are a birthday treat for my sister. I'll be making many more and teaching it for a Super Saturday craft. So many possibilities with these!

Score!
I was at a garage sale over the weekend. Really, it was a pretty lame sale. On the way out, at the last table I was looking at, I saw this roasting pot. I knew it had to be worth quite a bit of money. I could tell that it was an antique just by seeing the art deco handles and feeling the weight of the pan. Cookware just isn't made like this anymore. The lady who owned it said it had been her Grandmothers and din't think that it had ever been used. Long story short I payed 3$ for it. I had no idea until I got home and did some research on it that it's actually worth at least 130$. Can you believe it? I never score deals like that!

animal crackers
Don't you just love walking through a town and coming across random art exhibits? A while back I was visiting one of my favorite artists and best friends in Albuquerque. We went on a walk around my dream place to live village of Corrales and came upon this amazing piece. The funny thing was even though it's such a random thing to have so big in front of a market, was that it didn't seem out of place at all. I think the sandy browns of the animals helped it blend in with the stucco and adobe. Albuquerque was truly an inspirational place to live and I do miss it dearly. Maybe some day I'll have a little house in that little village.
